About CCVMA
The Contra Costa Veterinary Medical Association (CCVMA), is a non-profit professional membership organization in support of licensed veterinarians, providing contact information, networking opportunities and affordable, high-quality Continuing Education on a monthly basis. CCVMA is an approved provider for Veterinary Continuing Education necessary for license renewal. Membership is open to licensed veterinarians practicing, or seeking to practice, in Contra Costa County, in the East Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area. Dues to the Organization are currently $125 per year; January - December.
Founded in 1968, CCVMA is designated a non-profit 501(c)6 corporation by the IRS and State of California.
Meetings: The CCVMA hosts a dinner meeting for licensed veterinarians and their guests with a guest speaker and program on the 2nd Monday night (7:00 pm to 9:15 pm) of every month (except August and December). It currently takes place at the 5-Star, Lafayette Park Hotel (3287 Mt. Diablo, Lafayette, CA).
